Coming Up

THIS SUNDAY'S WORSHIP WILL BE SPECIAL!

Please join us in worship this Sunday. It is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and the entire service has been planned around this occasion, including bagpipes and powerful music. You will see ministers wearing "preaching bands"!

The Reformers changed the life and worship of the church in many ways. Our service will include hymns, Scripture and liturgy, which will highlight some of those changes. There will be some pomp and circumstance but it will all be to the glory of God!

So, plan to worship with us this Sunday. It is also a perfect Sunday to invite family, friends and neighbors to come also. The Piper will begin out front a few minutes before 10:30, so please do not be late. Remember, the service begins when the first person enters the sanctuary.

Another reminder - Sunday begins Eastern Standard Time. Set those clocks back an hour when you go to bed Saturday night!

The Faithful Ones Campaign continues!  As a symbol of our trust in God in these difficult financial times, we ask each church member to place one extra dollar a week in the offering plate. Through October 22, the Faithful Ones have contributed $1984 extra to our operating fund, supporting our ministries and showing trust in God's abiding love and care. Give faithfully and with a faithful attitude ... and each "faithful (one) will be richly blessed."
