About the Event
This year we will have ASHES ON THE GO. Drive-thru, walk up, or pause longer to receive ashes and experience outdoor prayer reflection stations and neighborly conversation in our parking lot 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm. If you have a busy schedule, this is a quick and meaningful way to observe Ash Wednesday.
We will also have dinner at 5:30 pm (reservations are required). Email the office at office@eastminster.us to make a reservation. Dinner will be catered from Jason’s Deli and include choice of sandwich (turkey, ham, chicken salad or veggie) and bread (ancient grain bun, croissant, or wheat wrap), chips, pickle, cookie, tea and water.
The Ash Wednesday service will begin in the Sanctuary at 6:30 pm with inspirational music, Imposition of Ashes, and Communion.
