We believe God has called us to be His hands and feet in the world. Our mission is to bring the presence of Christ to those who are hurting through gifted and trained Stephen Ministers. Stephen Ministers provide Christ-centered, one-on-one confidential care to people who are hurting. We act as the “care-givers” while faithfully believing that Jesus is the “cure-giver”.
Someone who might benefit from having a Stephen Minister could be someone experiencing:
-
Loneliness
-
Hospitalization
-
Terminal illness
-
Loss of spouse, child, close family member, friend
-
Unemployment
-
Welcoming a child into the family
-
Separation or divorce
-
Retirement
-
Being home bound
-
Most of life’s struggles
-
Families of those who have been incarcerated
